The fourth National Space Conference (NSC) will take place at the CSIR International Convention Centre, Pretoria, South Africa from 17 to 20 August 2027.

The conference will now be held on a biennial basis to strengthen programme quality, and create space focused, community-led events and sector implementation between conferences.

The conference is organised by the National Earth Observations and Space Secretariat (NEOSS) and the South African National Space Agency (SANSA), an initiative and entity of the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI), in collaboration with key national partners such as the South African Air Force (SAAF).

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  • If you wish to be a speaker, please submit your abstract on the registration form by 11 July 2025.

  • In order to exhibit, please complete the registration form by 11 July 2025, indicating that you wish to exhibit.

  • A limited number of eligible students, young professionals or speakers will receive sponsorship. Applications close on 11 July 2025.
