Grant applications for the 2027 National Space Conference will open in 2027.
The grant programme is intended to support broader participation in the Conference, enabling students, early-career professionals, and representatives from under-resourced institutions to engage with the space community and contribute to sector development.
Further details on eligibility criteria, application processes, and key dates will be announced closer to the opening of applications.

If you are interested to participate in the National Space Conference and require travel and accommodation support within South Africa, please apply for the NEOSS Youth Support Grant and / or the DSTI NEOSS Travel Participation Grant.
Only individuals with selected abstracts that align with the sub themes of the Conference and the Youth Session will be considered for participation, particularly those addressing solution driven applications in Earth Observations.
Only a limited number of eligible students, young professionals or speakers will receive sponsorship.
Grant applications closes on 11 July 2025.
