Grant applications for the 2027 National Space Conference will open in 2027.

The grant programme is intended to support broader participation in the Conference, enabling students, early-career professionals, and representatives from under-resourced institutions to engage with the space community and contribute to sector development.

Further details on eligibility criteria, application processes, and key dates will be announced closer to the opening of applications.

Grant applications will close on 11 July 2025.

To apply for the NEOSS Youth Support Grant, please complete registration form and complete the additional grant support form fields.

This form is to be completed by a student or young professional between the ages 18 – 35, studying or working in the space environment, in South Africa.

Only a limited number of eligible students or young professionals will receive sponsorship.

Only valid for local travel within South Africa.

The National Space Conference aims to advance knowledge and information about space and Earth observation applications, operations, products, and services, as well as how to use them for better decision-making and the advancement of society, economy, and the protection of the environment.
